Pseudomonas aeruginosa, gram-positive bacterium(except the staphylococcus aureus), rickettsia, anaerobion and fungus resistance to this product.Pharmacokinetics Neomycin taken orally and local application absorb less,after taken orally 3% of the amount excreted in urine,most unchanged excreted in faeces.The intestinal mucosa inflammation or anabrosis can make the absorption increase.Injection absorption quickly,the process in vivo is similar with kanamycin.Drug interactions1. Combination use with macrolide antibiotics can treat the mammitis caused by gram-positive bacterium.2.For oral administration can affect the absorption of digitalis drug,vitamin A or vitamin B12.3.Combination use with penicillin or cephalosporins can produce synergistic effect.4.The antibacterial action of this product become strong when in alkaline environment, combination use with alkaline drug can increase the antibacterial effect,but the toxicity of chlorobenzene increased.5.The positive ion such as Ca2+，Mg2+，Na+，NH4+，and K+ can inhibit the antimicrobial activity6.Used with cephalosporin, dextranum, diuretics(such as furosemide), erythrocin,can enhance the ototoxicity of this product.7.
